Our League
Art League of Bay City meets throughout the year with several programs, classes, workshops, & exhibits. We conduct monthly solo exhibits or group shows with receptions at our gallery. Each November, the group show is dedicated to the kids in our community. December is a members only holiday sale. In April, we have our open judged show. Winners in a variety of categories & at 7 different levels from elementary students to professionals are juried into the Lone Star Art Guild exhibit in the summer. Also in the spring is our annual Sip & Stroll Art Walk event. Members of Art League of Bay City also have access to studio space. Contact us for details. We are a non-profit organization committed to promoting cultural & educational enrichment through the arts. We were organized for educational & charitable purposes.
Join Us / Meeting Information
We meet the 2nd Monday of the months of September through May at 6:30 PM (Executive Board meets at 6 PM). Please join us for our next meeting at our gallery located at 1921 5th Street in Bay City, & let us introduce ourselves & our league.

Affiliation & More Membership Benefits
Art League of Bay City has a full schedule of opportunities for our artists as mentioned above, but additionally ALBC is also affiliated with the Lone Star Art Guild, and our members enjoy many additional benefits through this membership. Benefits include the LSAG annual convention celebration & juried exhibit offering artists more opportunities for awards & recognition. Winners of 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 1st Honorable Mention, & any 'Best' award at the ALBC judged show in April are juried into the LSAG regional summer show where more awards can be earned. As a member of Art League of Bay City, you are automatically a member of LSAG & can participate in any open judged show of any other LSAG member league. You can also attend any LSAG member league meeting where you may have the opportunity to view an artist demonstration or another program. Membership in Art League of Bay City comes with many benefits!
